EscapefromTehran.com documents the Iran travels of writer / photographer Ali Torkzadeh and lawyer / philanthropist Saiedeh Ajilchi, who grew up on the opposite ends of the earth and found each other in 2015, when Ali was visiting family in Iran (and was totally clueless about what he was getting into).
We organize our road trips from our home in the outskirts of Mashhad, away from the brutal congestion of Tehran, hence the name of this website. When visiting Tehran, we can’t wait to escape again!
